Goals & Objectives
Goal 1- I will be able to manage a terrain park at another resort, or a summer camp by the end of my internship. Meaning, I will have experience in all aspects of knowledge a terrain park manager must know.
Objective 1a (ABCD)- Under supervision, I will perform all of the opening, closing, and daily duties of the manager, supervisor, and crew positions, to the standards my manager and ski patrol find acceptable, by the end of February, so by the end of the season (Closing day) I can master this skills without supervision, and confidently take them to other resorts or summer camps where I will no longer have the supervision I am having during this internship.
Objective 1b (SMART)- By the end of February, I will create a list of all necessary tasks included in opening and closing and mid day duties, indicated by my manager to be important, through a short interview about possible scenarios and references to daily work.
Goal 2- I will learn the steps necessary to move up from crewmember, to supervisor, to manager in the terrain park by the end of my internship. Meaning, what did my supervisors and managers do, and what do they think I need to do.
Objective 2a (ABCD)- Through interviews, I will find out what key events helped my supervisors and managers progress there careers, and what they believe I need to do to progress myself, before the end of February, so that I can create a list of key goals I need to accomplish to progress my career in the path I want to pursue
Objective 2b (SMART)- By the end of the season (Closing Day), I will transform the list created from manager and supervisors interviews, into one more specific to me and the path I hope to take, to help guide me on a step by step pathway to become a manager of my own, and talk it over with my manager to see if he has any input on it.

Artifacts
These are reflective journals i wrote throughout my internship. these helped me make meaningful connections between the work i was doing, and larger concepts i learned in class. I am happy with how they turned out, and proud to share them with you.
